DHCP Master for iOS

This is a DHCP client app that makes it easy to send and receive DHCP messages on the network where device is currently connected and inspect every value of the header and all the options in the message.

This app can be useful to troubleshoot DHCP availability and correctness when configuring home or corporate networks as well as for educational purposes.

The only currently supported mode of operation is DORA negotiation (DISCOVER, OFFER, REQUEST, ACK). The app broadcasts DISCOVER message on the network, receives one or more OFFER messages to which it replies with REQUEST. All subsequently received ACK messages are also received and recorded in the app.

To start DHCP session, open the "Messages" tab in the app and hit the "Start" button.

This app will only work in networks that support DHCP protocol and have DHCP server configured, which is the case for majority of home and corporate networks. It does NOT work on cellular 3G/4G/LTE networks.
