ClipGrab for Linux is an open source tool for downloading and converting online videos. It currently supports YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, CollegeHumor, MyVideo, Sevenload, Clipfish, MySpass, and Tudou. Many other sites are supported via the heuristics filter. ClipGrab can convert the downloaded videos to MPEG4, WMV, OGG Theora, MP3, and OGG Vorbis-or simply store the videos in their original format. ClipGrab can download videos in HD from sites where this quality standard is available. ClipGrab can also be minimized to your system tray and read video links from your clipboard.
