Many authors recommend reducing peak oxygen consumption to 110mL O2/min for patients over the age of 75. This app uses the standard 125mL O2/min for all patients.
BSA is calculated as square root (heigh*weight)/36
Fick calculated as 125xBSA/ ((SAO2-SVO2) * hgb * 13.4.
