Calculator - Currate.com AlwaysMath.com is a calculator with basic looks but plenty of features. With several different calculator types in one program, this calculator is a versatile tool for users with a variety of math needs.
The program's interface isn't the most beautiful we've ever seen, but it's not bad. A function button allows users to switch between scientific, conversion, and financial calculators. Although each calculator displays brief instructions, the program as a whole lacks a Help file, which is our biggest complaint about it. Users who aren't already familiar with some of the calculator types will likely have questions that the instructions will not answer. Still, for the most part, the program is quite intuitive and easy to use. The calculator's features are impressive and go beyond what we've seen in similar programs. The conversion calculator is particularly nice, with 13 different unit conversion categories, including the usual categories like area and volume, but also force, press, and power. The constants library gives users access to universal, electromagnetic, atomic-nuclear, and physical-chemical constants, while the financial calculator handles things like periodical payments and interest per year. We especially liked that all of the calculators contain a history screen, allowing users to scroll back through previous work. Overall, although we would have liked a Help file with this program, we feel it's a very useful set of calculators.
