"C-Style" is an application that edits a program to autonomously operate the robot programming kit "-Xplorer with Bluetooth" sold by Daisen Electronics Industrial, Co., LTD.
The robot series released by Daisen Electronics Industrial, Co., LTD has also been published in textbooks and instruction books of junior high school technology departments in Japan, and has many achievements at international junior robot competitions.
C-Style is an educational solution for robot programming learning which even elementary school students can tackle.
It is a programming tool that has been evaluated highly by hobbyists because it can easily perform complicated operations without knowledge of specialized programming languages.
In C-Style, since parts of a visual program are dragged and dropped, there are no typing errors and C language-like programming language structure can be learned in a form that is easy to understand.
By using C-Style, you can control two line sensors, two motors, and five LEDs that are mounted on the robot as standard, allowing them to operate autonomously.
Sample programs that can be used immediately by copying and pasting such as line tracing and obstacle detection, flashing red, yellow and green LEDs, how to use forward, backward, rotation, sensor reading with a motor, etc. are also included as a library.
C-Style programs created on the iPad can be downloaded to the robot via Bluetooth.
On the edit screen, select the program button from the left palette and drag and drop it in the area on the right to interactively enter the detailed settings of the program button.
Finally, tap "OK" to confirm the program button.
To re-edit the confirmed line, tap the button of the corresponding line.
As you drag to insert a program button into a program, a blue line appears between the lines as you move the icon, allowing easy insertion of the buttons.
To cut, copy, or delete an edit line, swipe the corresponding line to the left to display "cut", "copy", "delete" menus.
If the selected program button is "if", "while", "for", then the whole block until "end if", "end while", "end for" is selected.
Cut or copied contents are transferred to the "paste" button of and can be pasted by drag & drop like other buttons.
Until the paste operation is performed, cutting and copying operations will be accumulated in "paste" button, if it is continuous.
If you press and hold the "paste" button, you can confirm the paste content and delete it with the "clear" button.
"Undo" and "Redo" buttons in the upper left of the screen can undo or redo the operations.
When the Download button in the upper right corner of the edit screen is green (connected to the robot via Bluetooth), tap it to download the program to your robot.
After downloading, press the robot's START switch to start operation.
