This narrowly focused Firefox extension will only appeal to specific users, but even those users might not find it very useful.

In a nutshell, BuienRadar provides radar maps of the Netherlands and of Western Europe. It can be accessed via your Tools menu, as well as through a shortcut placed on your status bar. The interface features two tabs, one for a map of the Netherlands, and the other for Western Europe. There's a drop-down menu for selecting loop times, and a refresh button. The program did indeed display the most recent weather visuals, but no other information was provided, such as temperatures, or what the weather patterns suggested. The animations looked like clouds moving across the map, but we couldn't be sure without more information.

Other than watching the animated elements move across a map, were baffled as to what information this free extension is supposed to provide. It works, as far it goes, and it's free, but this a plug-in most can live without.
