Editors' Review

This Lines-style game provides several variations on the standard color-matching theme. In Bubble Frenzy, your basic job is to fire your cannon to remove groups of like bubbles from the board. The program offers four game modes, including one where you must solve individual puzzles, and an endless game where you ward off a wall of bubbles that slowly advances upon you. In our opinion, the timed game offers the biggest challenge, but you also can play against a friend if you get tired of squaring off against the computer. The rudimentary level editor offers another (minor) defense against boredom. Bubble Frenzy's graphics and music are slightly above average for this type of game, and the feature set is likewise acceptable. For instance, you can adjust the audio volume, resize the game window, and choose to play with your mouse or your keyboard. All told, most puzzle fans should find something to like in Bubble Frenzy's assortment of games.
