While this program should help you learn and play the game of bridge, a limited trial and plain design detract from its overall goal. Bridgemania Tutorial welcomes you with an uninspiring interface that's fairly easy to use, but would benefit from options other than the File menu to access features. Although 12 lessons are available, you only can use three in the trial version. Two options, Info-Flash and Bidding Charts, provide a wealth of information on everything from opening bids to responses, but you can't resize their small displays and you'll have to scroll down to read all the tiny text. In addition to the lesson restrictions, most of the charts are disabled and you'll only be able to use one of four modes for the learning exercises during the seven-session trial limitation. Bridgemania Tutorial offers a good deal of information, and anyone can use it, but its plain design and demo restrictions may not draw you in.
