Nndor Wagner (19221997) a sculptor from Hungary.
Az 1956-os forradalomban kulturlis kpviselnek vlasztottk, s el kellett hagynia Magyarorszgot. Svdorszgban, Lundban folytatta mvszi tevkenysgt. Kiemelked jtsa az Angyalok szobra megalkotsakor a rozsdamentes szobrok ntsi technolgijnak kidolgozsa volt. Tbb emlkmvet, papr fresk festmnyt s kisebb szobrokat ksztett, mint pldul a Piett. 1969-ben Japnba ment, mtermet ptett Mashico-cho-ban, a Tochigi prefektrban, s kzel 200 festmnyt, terrakotta szobrot is alkotott. Egyik f mve a Filozfia kertje szoborcsoport (Nakano-ku, Tokyo). 2000-ben a Wagner Nndor Memorial Foundation emlk-galrit nyitott a Mashiko-machi mteremben.
In the Hungarian revolution of 1956 he was selected as a cultural representative. Later he exiled to Sweden, where in Lund he resumed his artistic work. He invented a new technology of casting stainless steel, producing the Statue of Angels. He made several monuments, paper fresco paintings, and small pieces of sculpture such as Pieta. In 1969, he moved to Japan, built an atelier in Mashiko-cho, Tochigi prefecture, and produced about 200 paintings, terracotta works as well. One of his main works is the Garden of Philosophy group of statues (Nakano-ku, Tokyo). In 2000 a memorial gallery at Mashiko-machi atelier was opened by Wagner Nndor Memorial Foundation.
