In the late 25th century, a small band of renegade Soldiers was trying very hard to be assigned to missions outside our earths airspace but they were not good enough according to record logs.
They were highly skilled in flight crew operations but needed a good pilot.
You are Captain Perry. General Herbert, Commander of the 82nd Intergalactic Federation (Airborne) assigned you as lead pilot for the renegade crew of four Airborne Soldiers and had given you command of the S.S. Journey, perhaps the most advanced Battle Spaceship in the Federation.
Accounts of your flying maneuvers are known all over the galaxy and entire populations nicknamed you The Pilot.
The year was 2496. Operation Trial By Fire had just begun. Enemy spaceships had successfully infiltrated our Galaxy and were on the way to Earth. The federation had sustained many losses but the S.S. Journey had played a major role in keeping our airspace safe.
Unfortunately, the last battle caused some serious damage to the ship and even resulted in you been injured.
You were taking to sickbay to be administered a new technique in medical technology. Nanotechnology to be exact. You were injected with nanites that would heal your injuries but for it to work, you had to be dormant. You were put into cryostasis. The process was to take no longer than two weeks.
Your crew, however, was not happy with this. As incredible as it may seem, after all the missions you had successfully led them through, while in sickbay, they decided not to wait for you to heal and conspired against you acquiring a new pilot to continue on further missions. You were left in cryostasis indefinitely. You were betrayed and abandoned adrift on board the E5C4P3 JU57-2.
The year is now 2518. Over twenty years had passed. A faulty relay inside the cryogenesis chamber resulted in cryostasis failure. You are now awake. The ships logs have given you a full detailed analysis of your former crews actions.
Electronic communications with nearby outposts can be reached and based on your research, you have learned that your crew has gone through several pilots, however, unlike your time in command, they have not been able to produce the kind of mission success you all once had. They resort to the same battle tactics you taught them.
You are now on your way back to earth. Your job is to avoid all obstacles and defeat any enemy spaceships on your way back to earth. The world thought you were gone. It is time to show them that you are back. It is time to show them you are and will always be The Pilot.
