AlaTimer

Fred Flintstone helps parents control their kids' daily internet and computer use time. Fred sets for each child a daily maximum number of minutes and a From-To time limit for Internet, or computer use. AlaTimer can run in invisible (stealth) mode. Should you be worried about your child's Internet activity, you may set AlaTimer to record the web-sites visited and you can inspect them at any time with AlaTimer. No limit to the number of children and computers that Fred is able to (remote) control on a single computer, or over your Microsoft Windows network. Fred's icon communicates with the logged-on user, the schedules and the number of minutes used and how many minutes are left, for the day, before popping up a last minute warning, followed by an auto logoff, shutdown or restart. Hover the mouse over Fred's icon and your child will find how many minutes have been used and how many more are left. You can remotely change the allocated time, if you need to do so. Schedule can be set for Internet access and AlaTimer will block access to any Windows browser, at any time outside the set limits. For Standard Windows users (that is not for Administrators), AlaTimer blocks access to Windows Task Manager, to the Add or Remove Programs of Control Panel, to changing the Date and Time, to the Cmd window and to the Windows Registry editors. A left click on Fredy's icon will display the About window and a right click will display the scheduled hours for Computer use and/or for Internet use. This is a shareware program, allowing full free use during 30 days. Once the evaluation period has expired notification reminders will pop-up occasionally, but AlaTimer will continue to run. If your trial period has expired and you are satisfied with this product, please (left) click the mouse on the Fredy icon, in the system tray and follow the simple online registration instructions. Should you wish to uninstall AlaTimer (should you really like to do so ?), simply start "Control Panel" (as Administrator) and run "Add or Remove Programs". Find the AlaTimer in the Installed programs list, double-click it and select "Uninstall".
