PDF files make distributing documents with formatting intact a breeze, but it is often desirable to edit or post the same content online in a different format. This application is aimed at extracting the content of PDF documents into Web-friendly HTML form, but in our minds, the output isn't quite clean enough to make it a truly useful tool. In our tests, the tool was able to preserve only basic formatting and links. Original fonts were occasionally lost, while tables and text boxes were often distorted. Only a few images were successfully extracted and embedded back into the new HTML documents. The application does not generate navigation menus, and produces one large HTML file, rather than separate pages. With these considerations in mind, we'd recommend most users look for a more powerful PDF converter.
