An accounting app that makes you want to journal more
To learn how to use the app, click on the "Guide" button on the top left corner of the app and watch the video.
Basically, journal entries should be made on the day the transaction occurs.
However, if the number of transactions is small, the journal entries are often made together at the end of the fiscal year.
For such people, I recommend that you journalize at the beginning of the period.
For electricity and communication expenses that occur regularly, you can journalize a year's worth of entries in advance as a provisional journal entry.
This is the same as a normal journal entry, except the journal status is set to "Pending".
When a journal entry day arrives, the number of entries will be displayed in the widget and you can confirm the status(Status:Confirmed) of the journal entry.
This allows you to quickly complete your daily journal entry.

During the period, the normal journal entries are made.
The same entries can be streamlined by using a template.
Use the journal book and general ledger to manage journal entries.
The end-of-period processing is journaled by specifying the adjustment, closing, and openning for the journal type.
The bookkeeping closing are continental style.
Profit and loss transfer entries and balance transfer entries help in verifying PL and BS.
The preparation of financial statements and tax calculations are self-service system.
Please export the journal entries data and handle it by yourself.
You can export the journal entries data in CSV format, which can be displayed by a spreadsheet software.
If you purchase the Basic Plan, you can use cash table, trial balance, and worksheet.
The cash tables is useful for managing receipt and payment.

The trial balance is useful for preparing your financial statements.
Feature : KV Tag
The journal has a filtering feature.
You can filter journal entries by pressing and holding a journal and selecting a KV tag.
A KV tag is a tag that combines Key and Value.
This concept is well known in programming, but it is not widely used in tags.
The advantage of KV tags is that they are more distinguishable than conventional tags.
For example, the tag "Apple" does not distinguish whether the business partner is Apple or the goods is Apple.
The KV tag can be distinguished by using "Business partner:Apple" or "Goods:Apple".
Filtering can be done using Key and/or Value.
Please use the Explanation field to enter the KV tag.
You can enter a mixture of Explanation and KV tags on a line by line basis.
KV tags are one tag per line, separated by a colon ":".
I recommend that you use an iPad to use this app.
When using an iPhone, please turn it to landscape mode if necessary.
You can only enter a single journal entry.
For compound journal entry, please break them up into single journal entries.
Each data is stored in the device.
Cloud synchronization is not supported.
There is no backup feature.
Please use the export function for journal entries, templates and chart of accounts to back up the data.
With the basic plan, the moving function is useful.
Exported CSV data can be viewed in a spreadsheet software (such as Apple Numbers).
