This application is a file-management utility that uses XML-based data storage to effectively store data from any device, but you cannot run the files from within the application's list. ADSS CD Base has a nice and user-friendly interface that is easily comprehensible even by novice users. It features a powerful search engine for searching MP3 tags or other files using string and filename search patterns. Instead of browsing through your backup storage devices, you can use ADSS CD Base to store the content of a device without copying the data itself. However, because the lists only reflect the content of a CD or device and not the actual file, you cannot open the files from within the program. Best suited for users or corporations that keep their backups on removable devices, ADSS CD Base may prove handy in searching for files rather than checking device contents one by one.
