A2N Kernel Control Manager for Ace 2 Age 13+ for Android

This App works only with A2N Kernel.

### App Features ###

# Power

--> Charger Control: Adjust AC / USB max Charging Current in 100 mA Steps, Range: 100 - 1500 mA

--> Shows the actual accepted Charging Current

--> Ability to stop and hold Charging at 80 %, helps to prolong the Battery Lifetime

--> BLN EOC i.e. Backlightnotification on End-Of-Charge - When Battery is fully charged it will enable the Softkey LEDs

--> Enables output Voltage to the USB-Port ... e.g. for charging other Batteries or to supply a fan

--> Shows Power Menu - useful if your Power Button is broken

# Audio

--> Gain Control for:

--> Headphones: up to +12 dB Total (analog + digital)

--> Earpiece: up to +8 dB

--> Microphone: up to +30 dB

--> LPA i.e. Low-Power-Audio on suspend - Undervolting up to -100 mV

--> Volume + / - over the App - useful if the Hardware Buttons are broken

# Screen

--> Sweep2Wake aka S2W - works even without forced wakelock

--> Turn the Screen OFF over the App - useful if the Power Button is broken

# CPU

--> Overclock Control: 200 - 1300 MHz (Stock: 200 - 800 MHz)

--> Undervolting up to -200 mV

--> Adjust Up Threshold from the Governor - to adjust the Balance between Battery Life and Performance

--> Boost Control: if enabled, it will jump from min freq to max freq, improving responsiveness

# GPU

--> Overclock Control:

--> Set min/max GPU Clock - Range 300 - 800 MHz (Stock: 400 MHz)

--> Undervolting up to -100 mV

--> Adjust Up Threshold from the Governor - to adjust the Balance between Battery Life and Performance

--> Boost Control: if enabled, it will jump from min freq to max freq, improving 3D Performance

# Hardcoded Performance Profiles

--> Powersave (Underclocked)

--> Balanced (Kernel default / Stock)

--> Performance (Overclocked)

--> Performance Plus (Overclocked)

# RAM

--> zRam - creates a swap block-device in RAM in order to improve Multitasking and it will start to compress data if needed (25 %, 50 % or 75 % of the RAM Size)

--> KSM - Kernel Samepage Merging - saves RAM if it finds some duplicates of the memory pages in RAM and it will merge them to one page

--> Shows the amount of the shared RAM in MB

--> FSB/DDR Overclock - 200/800 MHz @ 250/1000 MHz for higher RAM I/O throughput

# Network

--> Enable Kernel Support for Network File Systems: CIFS and NFS

--> Allows to change the TCP Congestion Algorithm (cubic, new reno, bic, westwood+)

# Misc

--> Flashlight Brightness Control - up to 5 times brighter than with Stock Kernel !!

--> Backlight Notification aka BLN - be notified of new Messages over the SoftKey LEDs, configurable ON/OFF blink delays

--> Accelerometer Calibration

--> Disable the Android Logger aka logcat - saves Battery and prevents other Apps to read the System Log

# Debug (over the left SoftKey)

--> Disable Restore on Reboot - useful if you are not sure whether the settings are stable, especially if you set too high CPU Clock or too much Undervolting !

### Installation Method ###

Please search the Web for "A2N Kernel Ace 2 XDA" and click on the first link "forum.xda ...."

Then scroll down to "Installation" and perform step by step in the right order.

Finally you can buy this App and use all features.

There is also how to update to Android 4.4.4. (fast Download)

Also you can repart the internal Flash to 3 GB for /data Partition, (Stock: 1.2 GB)
