This App can be used by professional paramedics to perform a Six Minute Walk Test according to the guidelines of the ATS (http://www.thoracic.org/statements/resources/pfet/sixminute.pdf). The App is conceived and thoroughly tested in practice by an academic physiotherapist.The app includes a stopwatch function and after each minute a reminder for encouragement appears. The app also provides a lap counter with adjustable course length, note room for heart rate, oxygen saturation and perceived dyspnea and fatigue before and after the test, of which you get an overview at the test results.The app calculates directly the number of meters walked. Number and duration of stops are shown at the test results. Obtained data can be transferred by email.This app is designed for healthcare professionals and scientists and is produced by Jan Kroon (Real Thinks BV) and Eduard Blanken (physiotherapist / movement scientist).
