Welcome to 3x5 Scripture Memory & Scripture Mastery 1.0.First things first - This app was not written by or endorsed by "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints". However, In our last General Conference, Elder Richard G. Scott (Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles) said, "Great power can come from memorizing scriptures. To memorize a scripture is to forge a new friendship. It is like discovering a new individual who can help in time of need, give inspiration and comfort, and be a source of motivation for needed change." I therefore, dedicate this App to Elder Scott and offer it free of charge without any in app adds. The idea is that when I was on my mission I used 3x5 cards to study and memorize scriptures. I put the verse on one side and the text on the other side. In my spare time I would test my memory by just looking at the verse to recall the text and vis-versa. So here in this app I have duplicated that ability for iPhone, iTouch and iPad users with IOS 5.0 and greater.Looking at the main screen you will see several buttons: Top left to right - "Add Verse", Info button, "Randomize", "Notes". Below that, there are a series of other buttons to enable up to 180 variations of lists .I've included the 100 "Scripture Mastery" verses along with what my mission to Scotland in the 1970's called the "120" and the "Basic 30". The "Basic 30" are actually part of the "120" but singled out for teaching purposes. There are some common verses between the "120" and "Scripture Mastery" so the total number of verses included is 186. I've taken some liberty with the "Scripture Mastery" order as displayed by the LDS Church in that I have separated the Pearl of Great Price verses from the Old Testament verses. If you are familiar with that format you will know what I mean.
