"Does just what I need it to, not bloated like the rest."

Pros
Very lightweight. Unlike most media players with searchable playlists, it runs great on older machines.
Cons
Might be nice if you could search by Album, Artist, or Title, but the simple all encompassing filter function is perfectly adequate for my needs.
Summary
It runs just fine on an older computer and it has a searchable playlist which is exactly what I needed. The machine I'm using it on is an ancient 300mhz Pentium II laptop with a DVD drive that I had laying around. Because it has a DVD drive I figured it would make an excellent in car entertainment center, and along with being able to play the DVDs I figured it would be nice to be able to use it as a big keyboard equipped MP3 player as well. yPlay is a simple lightweight program that allows me to do just that, and it does it flawlessly. So if you need a good mp3 playing application with a search function for an older machine it's perfect. If you want something bloated with pretty graphics, look elsewhere.
