Support for programming languages such as VB, C/C++, C#, VB.NET, Java. xlsgen provides rich capabilities such as cell formatting, formulas, pictures, charts, ranges, hyperlinks, outline, comments, cell manipulations. In addition, xlsgen is provided with an automatic code generation tool, a general purpose end-user Excel diff tool, and a general purpose end-user keyword search tool in Excel files.

xlsgen pricing
* Price : 390 euros (approx. $500 USD). Buyers pay a V.A.T. depending on their country. All the appropriate information is displayed at purchase time.
* Free bug fixes for the current version.
* Payment handled by Plimus.com, payment processing partner based in San Diego. If you are a reseller, you can make purchases on behalf of your customers by visiting the corresponding xlsgen Plimus store.
To purchase a license, you can also run the License Tool which is part of the xlsgen software package.

Version: xlsgen 2.1

"Surpasses Excel in handling xls files programmatically"

Pros: Huge feature set, fast on reading and writing .xls files of any content, API sccessible from most programming platforms. Royalty-free deployment license of 390 euros is a reasonable price for what you get. Top notch support..

Cons: Actually, none.
