In addition, xlsgen is provided with an automatic code generation tool, a general purpose end-user Excel diff tool, and a general purpose end-user keyword search tool in Excel files.

Pros: Huge feature set, fast on reading and writing .xls files of any content, API sccessible from most programming platforms. Royalty-free deployment license of 390 euros is a reasonable price for what you get. Top notch support..
