"A reasolution really good mrp solution software."

    November 15, 2011  |   By ceegold

Version: xTuple ERP PostBooks Edition 3.7

    Pros

No problems with download or installation. Has most option for mrp.

    Cons

Lacking as far as an erp software unless you purchase the necessary addon's which in my opinon is very costly for most.

    Summary

Not bad if you are only looking for an mrp product or willing to shell out big $$$ to make this a true Erp.

    "Be Careful"

    July 23, 2011  |   By jbradford12000

Version: xTuple ERP PostBooks Edition 3.7

    Pros

There is a Free Version that you can work with

    Cons

Company is small and support is weak

    Summary

Be careful about working with xTuple - their management team is sophomoric and challenging to work with. They do not guarantee their work and there is a reason for this. Be careful working with.

""Great product! Way more features than QuickBooks!""

    December 10, 2008  |   By bixwilson

Version: xTuple ERP PostBooks Edition 3.1.0

    Pros

This software is used by small and medium businesses to run their full ERP, including accounting, sales, customer relationship management, and other essential tasks. I love that you can use it on Mac, Windows and Linux at the same time.

    Cons

It has a pretty steep learning curve, but there are a bunch of helpful videos on the site that take you through everything from the basics to scripting custom extensions.

    "Excellent Product"

    November 17, 2007  |   By joshua_k

Version: xTuple ERP PostBooks Edition 2.2

    Pros

If you use the login credentials provided on the license page of the installation screen, you can see all the features that PostBooks provides and judge for yourself whether PostBooks is good for you.

PostBooks has too many features to mention here, but it covers most (if not all) of the bases that are the focus of QuickBooks and other small and mid-market accounting systems. It also provides a well-documented and easy to use API for common functions like invoicing and getting client information. This is a big plus for ISP's and other companies providing online services; it's easy to plug in to the accounting application to create bills and things like that.

We are beginning to test PostBooks for a web community we're developing, and so far we've discovered that it has all the features we need and is easy to use.

"Relatively quick and easy download and installation BUT -"

    November 14, 2007  |   By Wheels4U

Version: xTuple ERP PostBooks Edition 2.2

    Pros

    Looks very professional

    Cons

Seems like you gotta buy something to be able to get past the login and password. Tried to set up server side, but kept saying it couldn't find the server, even when I pointed it to the ip for the machine it was setup on. On the machine I set this up on, I set up the loopback IP, still wouldn't see it.
