"Wish I could give it 5 stars"
Version: xNeat Clipboard Manager 1.0.0.7
Pros
Simple to use system with Shift-Ctrl-V (or customized key sequence) then a list of items that can be clicked or selected with the keyboard; users can set between 10-99 items to be saved at a time; Xneat works with all the "copy" commands--Ctrl-C, copy url, copy image path etc. It seems to work OK with both Windows XP and 7.
Cons
Unwieldy once you get a large enough copy set (~40-50) to fill up an entire screen. No way to access items directly with key shortcuts, e.g. Shift-Ctrl-V-9 for the 9th item in the list, etc.
Summary
Very useful and free PC utility for anyone doing anyone sort of production that requires copying and pasting.
It works fine on Windows 7 (Pro, 64-bit) for me.

"It does what it is supposed to do, and does it well"
Version: xNeat Clipboard Manager 1.0.0.7
Pros
This free product caches items that are copied to the clipboard, and makes multiple copied items available for later pasting. The program is small, un-intrusive, and works well.
Cons
No complaints.
Summary
Install it, decrease your workload and increase your productivity.

"Excellent design"
Version: xNeat Clipboard Manager 1.0.0.7
Pros
There's lots of clipboard managers out there but for something so simple you want fast user interaction that does its job ... no need for lots of extra "features". That's exactly what xNeat does: simple with just enough features to work well & fast.
Cons
Once in awhile xNeat will crash. You won't know this but your normal escape sequence (Control-Shift-V for me, which I think is the default) will simply NOT work. I usually fire up Task Mngr and kill it .. then restart xNeat. Annoying but fixes it!
Summary
Good quality software that saves me a lot of time and it's free... If you want something simple that allows you to save some common text snippets & remembers the last 40 or so recent ones then this is it. It takes almost no memory/CPU overhead and reacts quickly. You don't get a lot of quality things for FREE anymore but this is a rare exception to that rule.
does NOT work in Windows 7 which is such a shame because I really have come to depend on this software every day
