For years, we were a research project at the Univeristy of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. As a research project, we were known as VisIT. We now have formed a small startup around the technology and are calling it UiKnow (it's about what you and I know). We look forward to building an active user community, a repository of quality information accessable by all, and a new way to search the Internet or intranets. However, please keep in mind, we are the "classic" startup; we are working out of our homes, appartments, or anywhere we can find a free connection; in the evenings, weekends or any other time we can.
