Schmidt's LOGIN GmbH - short LOGIN - provides consulting for all kinds of network related issues and IT services. LOGIN specializes on services in PC integration and large-scale standard concepts and was founded in 1987 at Munich, Germany by J.W. Schmidt and Roland Lötzerich, who has been the general manager so far. LOGIN started with the focus on consulting PC integration into the UNIX and OpenVMS world. In connection with this the "Working Committee VMS-PC-Integration" (AK/VPI) was founded by LOGIN in 1989 with members from over 500 companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. During the last years this focus has slightly changed to the Microsoft environment and products like Exchange, ISA and Windows 2003 Server.
