We are a small software company. Our key personnel have worked together in the past creating military communications systems enabling data interoperability between dissimilar systems. When 9/11 took place, we realized that many lives were lost as a result of lack of communications. Since most everyone has a cell phone, we thought that there might be a way to use them to provide First Responders and Friends and family the voice and data communications necessary to effectively interact both in and out of a crisis with accurate military precision. We realized that PDA cell phones had reached an inflection point where the hardware and the built-in software could be enhanced to provide the communications capabilities needed for effective real time mobile collaboration. We made it happen and now have location, status reporting, and instant communications software that enables military, government agencies and citizens to use PDA cell phones for mobile voice and data collaboration.
