Version: pcInternet Patrol 3.2.3.1
Pros: It can find and terminate most "firewall breakers" such as PcAudit, which is a program, by coincidence, designed by the makers of Pc internet patrol.
Cons: I purchased this product after doing some research and I found the reviews to be very good. However, this program does NOTHING to stop unknown threats and malicious activity. A 18 year old programming student at my university took about 15 minutes writing a harmless rogue program that not only beat this junk, but shut it completely down..We had a good laugh, then I remebered the $39 I spent on it. Just check Ghost security and download a small program called regtest, then try a program called advanced process termination from Diamond Security if you think I am lying.

"Cant evaluate..Forces you to purchase."
Pros: C|net gives it 4 stars..
Cons: Upon installing and restarting my computer as instructed, I was directed to the companies website where I was presented with three options...Mastercard, Visa or PayPal! Apparently my trial was over even though I had never heard of said product. (Scam??)

Summary: A little buggy..Reffers to Cyberscrub as a "Potentially unsafe program" but overall pretty good. I dont understand why all firewalls arent like this..Even though this isn't really a firewall. read more
