Summary
Contrary to one poster, this software does NOT delete tracks, even though I'd like it to do that as part of a bidirectional sync. And here's why -
The software only PULLS content in from a secondary machine. To test this, I synced both Macs so iTunes was identical. Then, I deleted a podcast on the secondary mac. Running sync again on the primary mac, it just reported that there was nothing left to sync -- meaning nothing new to grab. Now, when you go back to the secondary mac and run the software, it then PULLS content from the main machine and reports it wants to snag the missing podcast.
I think it would be a great feature for future versions if they can create an EasySync panel so that, from a single machine, it could update everything on all computers at the same time... resolving remote deletions and additions with notifications on-screen. Such a notification would be smart enough to say "Hey user, you've recently removed X items from X computer, should we also remove these items from this machine?".
Overall, the software works as advertised, but it could use a better UI. For instance, there is a Metadata setting which requires you to manually set up to 25 items for "Always Sync" or "Never Sync", yet someone forgot to add a single master switch so you could set all to "Always Sync".
If there was viable competition, I'd probably give it 3 stars. Since it appears to be the only name in the game, I have to give 4 for getting the job done. -
"This product does what it says!"
Version: myTuneSync 1.2.0.800
Pros
Easy interface, easy set-up, AND Windows friendly!
Cons
No complaints!
Summary
There is surprisingly little on offer out there to perform the seemingly simple task of syncing iTunes libraries across a home network. This does it! And painlessly! No lost files - despite comments below.

"Great product"
Version: myTuneSync 1.2.0.800
Pros
Sync music, playlists and metadata. Works on a Mac or PC.
Cons
nothing really
Summary
Not sure of the previous reviewers agenda. myTuneSync doesn't even support deleting tracks. It will only add or update tracks, so there no way it deleted their music as they claim. It's a great product. Go check it out.

"WORST PROGRAM EVER!!!!!!!"
Version: myTuneSync 1.2.0.800
Pros
Well, if you want to erase music you actually own, go ahead
Cons
SUCKS... SUCKS.... SUCKS...
How do you say, deletes music I ripped and OWN and I can NOT get it backSummary
DO NOT EVER USE THIS PROGRAM. DON'T DOWNLOAD IT, DON'T PAY FOR IT...
ok, I will stop ranting. It erased at least 1200 songs I own from my hard drive. For some reason I care not to investigate, it removed songs from my legitimate playlist for iTunes and then iTunes proceeded to remove them from my iPod.
Two possibilities here:
The programmers are competent and are simply evil working for the recording industry. Or they are the most incredible idiots I have ever encountered.
Do not use this program... Of course, if you think you shoudl pay many times for content, go right ahead....
