MobileDataforce, a privately held company located in Meridian, Idaho, was founded in 2000 as a result of several healthcare companies expressing a need for mobile data collection technologies. Each of these companies had mobile workers that faced the daily tasks of documenting information in the field, and then re-typing that same information into computer systems upon their return to the office. These companies identified specific productivity gains, quality of service improvements and expense reductions that could be achieved by implementing a mobile data collection solution. These companies encouraged a team of local Meridian, Idaho based software engineers to found MobileDataforce for the purpose of fulfilling those requirements.
