In 2007, Evident Technologies, LLC, a Texas Limited Liability Company, acquired all Asiva software, the asiva.com website, and other intellectual property including U.S. Patent US 6,295,369 B1 from Shapiro Consulting Group, Inc.
Shapiro Consulting Group, Inc. (SCGI) was formed in 1994 as a research and development company, focused on digital image and video processing and enhancement. In 1997, SCGI developed Asiva D1, a proprietary hardware/software system for enhancing broadcast-quality video to the aesthetic of film.
