Version: mIRC 6.35
"Simply the best IRC client out there."
Pros: Simple, easy to use interface that is a joy to use.
Everything is where it should be, and it has wide community support, as it is the market leader.Cons: By default it uses a fixed-width font. This is pretty much the only thing I could find wrong with it.
Summary: Highly recommended.
After trying many others (Pidgin, XChat, HydraIRC, KVIrc, mibbit, freenode webchat), I've finally found one that makes sense and I can use. read more -

Version: mIRC 6.35
Pros: It's a lot easier to use than prior versions of the product.
Cons: It still has a way to go. There's still too much difficulty to get to the specific chat channel you're looking for. (I can't imagine using this product to "just chat").
Summary: I'd like to see a much easier interface. This one has made some progress, but it still has a ways to go. read more
