Pros: Fast and easy - with many people, channels and servers. Very customizable!

"mirc has given me a doorway to the world for many years"
Pros: I can choose many rooms in which to talk to people about my interests. Over the years I have built good friendships. It functions effectively and easily in terms of use and protection frokm negative people. I am grateful

Pros: Pros: mIRC is a perfect IRC client. It is very easy to use, especially for beginners. If you're new to IRC, I recommend you visit #LlamaBot. The LlamaBot has good commands to help you get started, plus it is a lot more humorous than other IRC bots.
Cons: As other users have said, the only real disadvantage to mIRC is the registration prompt at every start-up.
Summary: All-in-all I highly recommend mIRC. read more
