"Worth the download."
Version: m9P Surfer 5.1
Pros
I run Windows XP serpk 3 and find that it opens web pages like yahoo mail, pogo and Toluna much faster than IE does. It has a very nice look and feel to it and is very light weight.
Cons
Will not erase browser history on exit (CCcleaner takes care of that). Can not find a way to export Favs. to flash drive. Last it seems that http://www.mental9production.com/ is not around so no updates or support. I do miss tab br..
Summary
I as a whole like it better than the other browsers I have used for it no frills get the job done approach. No tab browsing is a pain but for the ease of use I will put up with that. I think it is well worth the DL.

"Poor at best"
Version: m9P Surfer 5.1
Pros
Just another MSIE-dependent browser envelope. When WILL the world get away from dependency upon Trident???
Cons
May carry a trojan
Summary
I haven't seen anyone else reporting this yet, but something happened when I installed this browser for trial. A backdoor trojan of some kind started infecting SVCHOST.EXE and I had to rebuild my harddrive. Every few seconds, my AVAST popped up with a threat found in my user TEMP folder which was using SVCHOST.EXE.
Thank goodness for Imaging software. -
"Fast"
Version: m9P Surfer 5.1
Pros
I really like how this browser runs on an old P-166, low RAM, laptop. It's the default browser on there now. I haven't browsed extensively yet, but it hasn't crashed.
Cons
Nothing's perfect

"This version is slower than before."
Version: m9P Surfer 5.1
Pros
This release is more stable than previous versions.
Cons
Two toolbars, main and address. The claim to be fast is false. IE6 is faster, much faster and for being a small download, Avant is smaller, faster and more reliable. This browser lost my interest with this latest release. If you download this you'll uninstall as I did after 10 minutes of surfing with false hopes.
