"One of the best registry tools on the internet!"
Pros: jv16 PowerTools 2006 1.5.2 is made by Macecraft Software, the same company that makes RegSupreme. It is similar to RegSupreme, but with many more features,(23 total). jv16 PowerTools scans and safely repairs your registry lightning fast, in about 17 seconds! It also features a startup manager, a programs uninstaller, a registry hive compactor, duplicate file finder, disk wiper, history manager/cleaner, privacy protector,cookie manager, start menue fixer, and more. Your computer will be cleaner and run faster in seconds. Try the 30 day free trial, with all features working! I rate jv16 PowerTools, 5 Stars and Two tumbs up!

"I gave it a serious look, see."
Pros: I read the great reviews and decided to check it out. I tested it on my "Vista" system. Heres what I did. I have to say first, that I really did like the warning the program gave about knowing what you are during during the installation. That was great.
1) I made a fresh image of my hard drive with "Acronis True Image", just in case.
2) I manually created a system restore point, just in case.
3) I ran a disk cleanup with "Windiws" disk cleaner and "Tuneup Utilities" disk
cleaner.
4) I ran a registry cleaning with "Tuneup Utilities" and cleaned 156 registry keys.
5) I confirmed my installed software.
6) I double checked my startup items with "Tuneup Utilities Startup Manager".
Then I installed " jv16 PowerTools 2006" and ran tests on the same things I just ran with "Windows", "Tuneup Utilities" and on my own with this application,
1) Missed my internet security suite and another item in my auto start list.
2) It missed three installed software applications.
3) It found an additional 83 registry keys it wanted to delete. To aggressive for
me. I just don't trust registry cleaners that much.
4) It found and wanted to delete an additional 100 plus unwanted file. To many
for my liking as some were files I wanted to keep.
5) The history cleaner deleted my saved email log in accounts and passwords.
Not what I wanted it to do.
Cons: All in all, in comparison to the software I have been using, I found this application to be to aggressive. I didn't allow it to delete anything, just took a good look at all items. I found it strange that it missed auto start programs as well as three installed software applications. I removed the application without any problems. It may bee a great application, just not for me.

"my favorite: THE most reliable, stable, dependable accurate,safe, thorought tool there is."
Pros: Like having a van of cleaning experts pull up in the driveway, unload their equipment, run on in the house, scrub, and take off. They leave you smiling; sitting out by the pool with a long island ice tea, gazing at the comtrails as they dissipate into thin white strands of little poofs. No stress.
Cons: I don't like that eventually you have to pay for something.

"Don't be fooled by its unpolished graphic interface"
Pros: JV 16 Power Tools is a software suite of 23 different tools for cleaning, diagnosing, and optimizing your computer. The maker of this program is Macecraft Software, a small Finnish company. I first started using this program many years ago when it was freeware and have stayed with the software long after they started charging for it. Why? From its inception JV 16 Power Tools has had one of the best Registry cleaners on the market. The measure of the quality of a registry cleaner is not only its ability to remove invalid registry entries but also to not clean out valid ones in the process. JV16 Power Tools has always excelled at both, as it combines aggressive cleaning with safety. It is one first class registry cleaner and this single tool alone is worth EVERY cent Macecraft asks for. All the other tools in the suite, regardless of their fine quality, are merely icing on the cake. Also of note is the fact that this company is not content to rest on its laurels, and is constantly looking to improve this tool.
Cons: Many people are put off by JV 16 Power Tool's unrefined look. Macecraft puts very little, if any, effort into the graphic user interface's look. It's an afterthought at best. Don't be fooled by its bare bone appearance. The suite may have the look of a beat up old jalopy but under the hood is a Ferrari of a registry cleaner!
