Performance has been drastically improved. irEdit 1.5 has been tested with files sizes up to 3MB.
The "Use Texured Windows" option has been added, allowing users to choose the window style of their documents(works with Mac OS X 10.2 and above).
The "Initial Size" preference has been added, allowing users to choose their default window size(in pixels).
The "Utilities" panel has been added:
Users can choose from a popuplist of all open documents to bring that document to the foreground.
"Open Quickly" has been added, as well as the ability to set the search paths for this feature.

Improved language support. In multi-language documents, you can now use a comment from the other language to mark the beginning of a new language region. example: For .html files you could have HTML as the primary language and javascript as the secondary. You can now set the "start tag" of javascript to "". v1.5 will now recognize the text between the tags as Javascript and will color it properly.
