"Evaluation version doesn't work."

Pros
This program is horrible. It has no pros.
Cons
Program wouldn't even open the evaluation portion of the program. The one time I was able to access the evaluation, the program could not detect my iPhone.
Summary
I need a program to copy home made videos from my iPhone 3G to my pc. After installation, I clicked the "Evaluation" button many many times before it finally opened, and then the program could not even detect my iPhone. I closed the program, reopened, and clicked to run the evaluation again. And again. And again. I was never able to get into the program again. I will not drop $29.95 on a program if I can not even see how it performs. Or maybe this really is the way it performs, to which I say "RUN AWAY!"
