Looks like they are out of business. Tried to register after updating but registration server is not available. With only 14 tries left of the trial period, I am concerned what will happen.
Summary
If the vendor is dropping support, it would be nice if they just released it for anyone.

Pros
No problems after several years of use. Stores backups as a database or PDF file. Cost is reasonable.
Cons
Printout of database takes too many pages.
A more compact printout would be more eco friendly. Can't change the category of file once it is created.Summary
I will update if a new version comes out. Need an iPad version but none appears to be coming. Might want a more versatile company.

I have Google Chrome as my default browser set in OSX as Google Chrome is much faster than Safari on any mac I have tried it on. This program insists on popping open safari when clicking auto-fill instead of my specified default browser, and because of that. It's not worth buying to me. Other than that I LOVE this app. When they change that, I will absolutely buy it and will be happy about every penny. -

I can't really complain about Snow Leopard incompatibility because I am running Snow Leopard TODAY and info.xhead 2.0 with no problems. Furthermore, they gave us a "look up your serial numbers"-beta the day Snow Leopard launched to use until they debugged the new version.
On Sunday morning I got an email response from the developer in less than 5 minutes! Hard to complain about that.
Finally, they have added an image option for each entry. Terrific if you need to store scanned serial numbers (i.e. microsoft!) into your database.
The inclusion of .Mac backup makes me secure and the aggravation of reinstalling software after a system rebuild is now little more than an annoyance. This is the first software that goes onto my machines. It is fast and painless.
