    "Amazing Solution to Common Problem!!!"

    March 29, 2010  |   By TeamHegmegee

    Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573

    Pros

This application puts my mind at ease knowing that I won't look unprofessional when I post something to the Internet. With 1 click of a button I can check my entire document without having to use any other programs. It cuts down the time immensely!

    Cons

Unlike the spell checker with Firefox you don't know for sure if you have misspelled a word unless you check EVERY document. The add-on in Firefox puts a squiggly red line under misspelled words that grabs your attention. That's the ONLY Con though

    Summary

It's an A+ application! I can be assured that everything I submit is spelled correctly. Now I'm not saying that everything I post is something that everyone agrees with but at least I know it's spelled correctly...lol! Firefox has an -add-on that underlines in red the words that are misspelled which is nice because it brings attention right away to the matter at hand. It would be nice if ieSpell would have that option. ieSpell can only do it's job if you check the document EVERY TIME before you click on submit. Also, ieSpell doesn't work for Firefox & I would like to see it available for both platforms. In all reality though I am extremely glad that I was introduced to this app because there have been MANY times in the past that I would wonder if I had spelled a word correctly & in some cases I would even go off site to make sure that the word was correctly spelled. It may not matter to everyone that every word is spelled correctly but it does matter to me. I like coming across as looking like the well educated person I am. I know that EVERY person out there wants to look their best. This is a small but largely useful app that allows you to do so. I also know that from time to time all of us have been working too long or may just have a brain freeze & we know we spelled a word wrong but no matter how many times we re-spell it, it just doesn't "look" right. Well you don't have to worry about that anymore with ieSpell because it makes sure that you have spelled all the words in your document correctly. Lastly, the app doesn't take up any room in your memory/RAM/HD etc: it's a very small app that does huge things. I honestly give this app a 5-star rating!!!

"Works OK Not sure if IE8 officially supported?"

    March 29, 2010  |   By jscott418

    Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573

    Pros

Seems to work as promised. Although I question why no real mention of IE8 support.

    Cons

In a world where the Web is full of blogging sites, and social networking sites. You have to wonder why some type of Spell check is not included in IE8? This obviously works to get thaqt job done.

    Summary

I am neither a fan or a hater of Internet Explorer. Its one of those browsers you have to keep around for certain sites. But why Microsoft refuses to include as every other browser does a Spell Checker. Just shows how out of touch Microsoft is. Certainly IESpell does fill that void, but you have to wonder the logic behind Microsoft's lack of including such a basic tool.

"Never again will I look like a illiterate moron"

    March 19, 2010  |   By UncleMoosebuzz

    Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573

    Pros

This is awesome! It is handy in those chats, tweets and message boards where you have no spell check handy.

    Cons

I can't think of one. Truthfully!

    Summary

I am the worlds worst speller. It was embarrassing to be on line and constantly misspell words, making people think I was a babbling idiot. With this on line spelling, anywhere I go, little red lines appear, alerting me that I am doing it again! At least now, it is my little secret. No more misspelled words for me on line! Thank you for a great product!
