"Works great here."
Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
Works great to find my bad spelling.
Cons
Does not highlight miss spelled words. I have to read the whole thing to find what word it tags. Don't know if it is because of Windows 7 OS or Explorer 9.
Summary
I still use it but may stop using it and go to Google spell check instead. I just used Google's spell check and did not have to look over the whole thing.

"Brings IE9 Into The Modern Browser World"
Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
No hassle loading, meshes perfectly with IE9, simple to use - just right click your work and it shows you your spelling mistakes and lets you choose what to ignore and what to fix.
Cons
So far, so good.
Summary
No need to download another browser just to get a spell checker - just use ieSpell.

"An unexpected plus to my system."
Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
I was disappointed with the document sent to me, when it asked me whether I wanted to conduct a spell check of the review I'd just completed. I was dumb founded when I checked the icon for spell check, and there was 'none available' for an answer. The surprise was that the document then cued me to the ieSpell. What a nice solution, and it was very thorough and complete. It downloaded quickly and my system accepted it smoothly.
Cons
Found no negative results
Summary
Thanks for the ieSpell.

"ieSpell loses track of insertion point"
Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
It does find misspelled words fairly accurately
It allows for Ignore, and tries to learnCons
When I correct the spelling of a word, it will then put that word inside another word, not necessarily the word being corrected. Just end up with a word that starts as (for example) "corect" and ends up "corecorrectctc." No rhyme or reason to how it will screw up, but it does more often than not.
Summary
I use it to find words, then cancel it while I correct them manually, then run it again to find more misspelled words.
Thankfully, this is a freebie, because I would want my money back if I had paid for it. -
"Makes up for my terrible typing!"
Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
Easy to use & great for on line posting especially when your typing is not perfect like mine. Been using it for several years and I just got a new computer & downloaded it immediately.
Cons
None that I can find
Summary
Get it now before you post anything on line.

"Great Freeware"
Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
Saves time
Easy to use
Supports spell checking only the highlighted areaCons
It wants to correct all spelling mistakes on the page not just the ones I made unless you highlight the area.
Summary
This saves me time as I do not have to jump between Word and Explorer to correct my uneducated spelling mistakes. It is not as powerful as a word processors spell checker but it is powerful enough for 99.99 percent of my web based needs.
I like it and use it daily. -
"very useful"
Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
great for checking spelling on blogs or forums
Cons
would be good if checked spelling as typed rather than only when click spell check button
-
"It can't spell"
Version: ieSpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
None, the dictionary used is not proper English,
Cons
It can't differentiate between two words with the same meaning, and it also needs to use a proper Oxford dictionary
Summary
Mine has started to add together the word to be corrected with the last word behind it, and add the last two letters of the word word behind to the end of the word to be corrected after the correction.
very poor !!!
