"Superior Time Tracking for Any Service Professional"

      November 02, 2006   |   By Brinen

      Version: iBiz Network 3.0b9

      Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I've been using iBiz (and its predecessors) for years. I've been through version one through this current beta, and the versions keep improving. This version - even though is still in beta - is incredibly build, stable, and ready for prime time. The revised invoicing section opens up a side of the program that was previously closed. While the choice of client specific billing versus project specific billing may seem to be a unique one, the billing side makes logical sense. I would never give money back on one project while another project was owing.

i've been running a law office of five attorneys and support staff on this for years, and I have found it to be a wholly reliable program.

I reccomend it to my clients and my colleagues without reservation.

      Good job!

"Best Release Yet... Check out the Widget"

      Version: iBiz Multi-User 2.4

      Summary

The Widget is the perfect addition to the program, allowing multiple timekeeping, and quicker task recording then the program. The update is stable, and well done. I encourage all to start using it.

"Best time keeping app out for mac"

      March 16, 2005   |   By Corporate Raider

      Version: iBiz Multi-User 2.3.4

      Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I've been using iBiz/iWork since version 1.3, and I have to say that the program performs just as well as Timeslips, for a vastly minor percentage of the price. I have a three person practice (plus one wacky of counsel guy) and no time gets lost. We trust it implicitly.

      "Great app for small money"

      September 29, 2004   |   By cybermax--2008

      Version: iWork Multi-User 1.2b2

      Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I work with iWork since two month. It works great for me, makes my business administration and transparence much more easy. Yes it's true, there are some bugs in the app. I make dayly backups of the application support folder in the library, because I think it would be very bad to loose the information there. Maybe it would be better to use if the iWork data file would be saved in the documents folder. But in the end, I am very happy that I found iWork. The benefits are much bigger than the problems and the support from the programmer is very good.

      "buggy indeed"

      September 07, 2004   |   By mStudios_dotmac

      Version: iWork Multi-User 1.1.3

      Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
unfortunately the client version is buggy, I have lost projects, entries and parts of entries (tab in a new job group entry will not tab to notes but to the first note of the first item in the list and delete at the same time the original note there). the promise of this application is really good if it just would not be so touchy as to when it gets a hiccup and when it does something as expected (e.g. a drag/drop into the right place without deleting someting else).

i don't know about the differences in the client (multi-user) and single-user applications, but why is the single user so much more advanced in version number? when I bought iWork a couple of months back, they where the same and seemingly at the time also same in features, but just a little later, the single-user had a feature which the client version did not show (ability to read old project files by drag/drop for example).

does this mean there is paid less attention to the client version? as it seems that the client version is the buggier of the two, this is the one which should be taken care of - before adding new features like the todo stuff (which is nice... if it works, which I don't know yet). look at the ratings between the two and it is obvious that something (not so good) is up with the client version.

originally I bought the single-user version but seeing what the client version promises, I switched - only to now wonder if I should have stayed with the single-user licence and just keep it all on one machine instead.

the version I am talking about unfortunately has so many quirks that I can not trust it and it keeps me in constant fear of loosing again a project or some hour entry etc. - but apart of these issues, it is a well thoughtout application and of course I will try the later version now and hope that this will take care of some of the bigger issues.

      "A fine product"

      September 07, 2004   |   By Thorri

      Version: iWork Multi-User 1.1.3

      Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I do not share the experiences described below. I've been using iWork since version 1, and upgraded to the Multi User when it was released. Although not perfect (very minor irritations), it has proved very usable and easy to use. I do not use the receipt part, only the Time Spent Management (over a network, with 2 employees) and I look forward to the ToDo feature promised in version 2.

I know a couple of people who have tried other applications - and liked them - but still liked iWork more.

      "Buggy"

      August 31, 2004   |   By Whitefen

      Version: iWork Multi-User 1.1.3

      Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
The server version is buggy. The strange thing is that it seems to be getting more buggy the longer I use it. Things that worked before has stopped working. The author has been prompt in his response but not that helpful. Apparently there is a 2.2 version coming soon, I would wait for that at the very least.

      "Use a competing product"

      August 30, 2004   |   By mahuti

      Version: iWork Network Solution 2.0

      Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I was at first very happy with this product. After a while, the server started randomly deleting projects, not storiing projects, and generally had a lot of difficulty doing it's job.

The single user version is great and simple. Stay away from the networked version. It's definitely not ready for prime time.
