"Merging is finally here "

November 18, 2009  |  By AldorfMan

Summary

I am a registered users from day one. This product has grown to a full force converter.
The new merging option is a very good addition and makes this the main converter tool you need for OSX.

"Would love to give 4 stars"

And I will come back and do that, but I need my serial number sent (or possibly re-sent). Hoping that my email and/or this review will get that done.

Otherwise I love the product.

"Thanks for this great converter"

August 20, 2009  |  By MisterMacintosh

 |  Version: iVideo Converter 2.0

Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.

Best looking OS X converter imo. And most important it does everything very well indeed.
I am not a video enthousiast but need to convert ones in a while a file or two to my iPod Touch.
All files I converted are of a very good quality without changing anything.
To be honest, I did not dig into this very deep but it seems to have a lot of options to go for. I only use the iPhone preset.

The developer is also very responsive to my requests. Always good to know imo

"Does the job to convert video formats, but..."

August 16, 2009  |  By js.matrix

 |  Version: iVideo Converter 1.3.7

Pros

Performs well for batch edits.

Cons

Not completely polished product. For example , You can save the presets but, you have to play guessing games with each of the user presets when you use them. You can not assign an easy-to-remember file name to these presets.

Summary

You get about your money's worth for the quality of refinement versus what you pay. Fundamentally, it gets the job done, being a front end for the open-sourced FFMPEG converter.

"Cool converter"

May 25, 2009  |  By MisterSence

 |  Version: iVideo Converter Public Beta 3

Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
It seems there is a good possibility this program will rock when it is completely finished.
The beta3 is running smooth and has a really handy interface. Looking very professional.
The 90seconds limit in this beta is somehow unpleasant but it is still very usable for small internet video files to convert.

Definitely something to keep an eye on. I sure will !

PS I mailed the developer about some small issues and the future registration price. Seems it will only cost 5eur. Not much and fairly priced.
