"Unexpected bugs"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
-Great new features.
Cons
-The songs "fastfowards" whenever other sounds are activated. For example, when trying to listen to a song while playing a game, the game sound will play correctly, but the song in iTunes will skip and fastfoward.

"Rapidly Becoming the Program You Love to Hate!"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
I use iTunes for podcasts and occasionally buying music. They finally got a separate window for downloading. Also 7 is more configurable.
Cons
Major irritation!! I use subheadings for programs on my Start menu. If iTunes doesn't see its shortcut directly under the Start menu when it's invoked, it starts a "Configuring" routine which includes placing a shortcut in the Start menu and also on the desktop.

"Definitely an improvement"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
It has more features and looks way better than iTunes 6. The "Look and Feel" has improved, so to say. The best improvement is that you can now use iTunes to download album art for all tracks in your music library.
Cons
What I don't like about it is that it skips more often (the same sound you get when you shake a CD player while it's playing). Maybe this is due to the higher memory consumption? Apple should seriously consider slimming the program down somewhat. It is also quite annoying that you have to install Quicktime with it, especially because I hate Quicktime...

"Doesn't update play count, crackles a lot"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
New interface is really nice
Cons
It doesn't update the play count on my songs, may not seem like a big deal but it is important when I am creating playlists for DJing. Also the music crackles a lot, sound quality has gone down a lot with this iTunes realease

"Good, but still not amazing!"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
It looks fantastic
It is very organised
It is quicker than any other media player I've used (For music)
A few tiny features make it useable over winamp and windows media player (mainly the ipod interface)
Cons
Drinks RAM like nothing else I've seen
Takes ages and ages to get libary organised (Although it is better for it)
Still no choice of skins
Sometimes if I want to watch something, or do something else, and I close it down, IT STILL KEEPS OPENING ITSELF UP!
It is the worst program ever for watching videos, they are slow jerky and hard to get full screen or to have a window "Always On Top Of Other Windows"

"Sweet"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
I have been critical with Itunes and Ipod in general in the past, mainly due to somedevastaing glitches. 7.0 has it down and it is fabulous. No longer do I have to sift through several screens as life passes me by, just to SAFELY detatch iPod. Once the sync is through it frees itself from Itunes. And it is consistent. I also use Volume Logic (Found Here) for a natural "tube amp" sound. With the ease of playlists, and features like on the go, great shuffle and so on, I tunes is my player that i use most!!!
Cons
My only Gripe, I wish that i wasn't leaad to the open door of the music store. The store does have a lot of selections to some great music, but the whole 1 click thing, and the "don"t bite the taisty apple thing feels slimmy

"Wait for update"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
It's iTunes.
Cons
The "improved" interface is different from previous versions of iTunes and I think Apple cludered it up quite a bit. So, if you are used to the "old style", then I think you will have to learn how to navigate through new bloated junk they put in just to get to where you want to go. Also, the audio playback is screwed up big time. You will regret ever installing this. Wait until they fix the audio bugs.

"Memory Overload"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
It's the iTunes we know and love. Beautiful organization, search, and playback. Great equalizer and amazing online store. Radio stations, podcasts, it does everything... except...
Cons
...allow you to do anything else while you work. This new iTunes is so resource heavy it is failing to work with just basic programs. I have 1.5 GB of RAM and I can't seem to have my email client and other productivity software open while it is running. Music skips when I switch webpages, or even stops altogether. It sits on the computer at nearly 70,000 KB memory usage. Other programs such as MediaMonkey (currently rated higher on CNET) sits around 17,000 KB. You do the math.
I can't believe Apple would take such a streamlined music player and beef it up so much. No one was complaining about iTunes 6. This recent release made me transfer to another player, incredibly discouraged from ever going back.
iTunes lite, and I'm back.

"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! DONT DOWNLOAD THIS!!"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
ARE THERE ANY????
Although i looked forward to trying the album art download feature...
Cons
PLENTY OF CONS!!!
-CRASHES COMPUTER WITH BLUE SCREEN ON STARTUP due to driver errors.
- Horrible sound quality (choppy)
- IPOD becomes incompatible to sync with older versions of ITunes.
- Database file itunes uses in 7 has been changed, therefore making the process of going back to an older version impossible unless you have backed up your itunes folder.
- Slow start up! I think i waited in excess of 30secs on a 3.4Gb Pent4 with 1GB ram new computer!!
AVOID Apples Itunes 7!! It will cause you more pain then ever!! "APPLE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?? YOUVE RUINED ITUNES!!"

"A Disaster...Install at your own risk!"
Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros
The new interface is wonderful to look at. When all the bugs are fixed, it will be a great product.
Cons
My audio skipped, played too fast, popped and was distorted. I tried every single fix offered at the apple forum. None worked on my Windows XP machine.
