Version: iTunes for Windows 6
"This program is very mainstream and easy to use"
Pros: Works great, excellent design. Please don't get overscared by the cons.
Cons: The bad news is for us security consious people out there. This program has several vulnerabilities which can cause virus/trojans to get in. This program is great, it just needs some hardening. Our tests showed a lot of security vulnerabilities.

Version: iTunes for Windows 6
"Bad rendition of a fine piece of software"
Pros: On the one computer I could get it to install on...it's not terrible. iTunes 5 + better video support.
Cons: Numerous computers I've attempted to install it on have catastrophic installation failures. Research of my own (confirmed in Apple's support "Discussions") indicates that the bundled QuickTime 7.0.3 update is not installing correctly.
Long story short: Wait for a 6.0.1! This is a busted release for most and will be a frustrating waste of time. Further, it will leave QuickTime in an usable state that takes some know-how to clean-up. Apple QA should be sent home over this mistake.

Version: iTunes for Windows 6
Pros: Being able to organize and create playlists easily, iTunes has become one of my favorite media programs. Now that you can put videos on your ipod, iTunes makes it simple to add videos to your ipod. The interface is easy on the eye. You can do everything from buy music to rate your songs or create a playlist while burning another one at the same time. Number one for my computer.
Cons: You will only feel the true potential if you have an ipod. Otherwise stick with WMP or something, unless you really like iTunes without the ipod.

Version: iTunes for Windows 6
"Great software with fresh approach for handling music files"
Pros: I don't know much about Mac software, but when I saw iTunes released for Windows, I got excited by new design. One of many other advantages of this product, for my mind, is a capability to handle a large music library. iTunes sorts songs in a snap, rather than offering a lag like other music players. I can actually listen to my collection randomly without getting errors. As one might imagine, the integration between iTunes and iPod is seamless. I can access my iPod as if it were a local drive. Availability of CD ripping feature is a pleasant moment also.
Cons: iTunes doesn't give you the control over file names and their locations.

Version: iTunes for Windows 6
Pros: You can transfer media to your ipod.
Cons: Although you can transfer media to your ipod, you cannot do it on the fly. You have to reconnect the ipod everytime you want it to update. I would much rather prefer Yamipod.
