Version: iSpQ VideoChat 7.5
Pros: It's quite good, especially for someone new to ispq/Nanocom. I participated as a beta tester, and during the tests, I was thrilled to see ispq using a video image which filled 90 per cent of the screen. Alas, it was gone in the finished version.
I am a big fan of audio/video, though sadly most internet video fan prefer keyboard. For those of us who are poor typists, a/v is just what the doctor otdered. For those of us with mikes in cameras, headsets, etc, ispq is advised to encourage a/v users to go through the XP multimedia setup drill, to make sure they are using the right mikes and speakers.
An internet video fan is encouraged to check out also ZoomCall/ZoomChat and SightSpeed, which have slightly better video and/or other capabilities like larger images and the ability to leave recorded video mail.
Cons: Less than full screen video, no videomail capability.

"I was hooked before the 21 day free-trial was up!"
Pros: The program was easy to learn, unlike a lot of video chat programs. The thing I like best about this program is that you can use it as an instant messaging program using a contact (pal) list [with the option of joining a directory chatroom] but without all the annoying pop-up message windows other chat programs use. Each QM (quick message AKA instant message) you receive is neatly delivered into a menu box. This allows for communicating privately (1:1) with more than one person in a less confusing manner than those programs that use annoying pop-up message boxes. With each QM you want to send, you have the option of sending a snapshot of yourself with your message. Responses will usually come back with the picture of the person sending it to you (although not always). Video and audio quality is exceptional with adequate hardware. Live connections are the next best thing to being together in the same room. Often, you will feel as though you are. Even though there are some CONS with this program, I still feel it is the best chat program I have come across on the net. There are certain features of this program that keep me coming back.
Cons: Program server problems/bugs from time to time (especially when development of a new upgraded version of the program is about to be or is released). Future upgraded versions are not always free. Recently older versions of iSpQ have either been discontinued and are unusable or certain features are no longer available to those with older versions (for example, searching profiles online of iSpQ members). Many users assume that other users are using this program for "sexually-oriented" fun. However, there are community monitors available to report such abuses/harrassment, and there is a refuse list you can use to no longer be bothered by users you no longer wish contact with.
