isale is the biggest, worst, sh$%ty app i've ever seen and used.
ok, the interface looks good, the functions are great BUT who the f&%k has programmed the picture upload via ftp s&*t?
i'm so enraged and irritated cause this peace of crap has changed the groups and owner of ALL directorys on my ftp server!!!!
i hate equinox and this s#$%ty software and i would never ever buy any stuff from this non-qualified, hobby b-programers software company!
and i would recommended to everyone to not try this peace of s$%t!!! -

I was a gargesale user and recently swichted to isale. I saw it on ebay... bought it... tried it....and I like it. I love the interface and features. isale has new template designs which make it easy for me to create my auctions...i like the pinboard design...cute, google maps are a fun feature and i can really manage my auctions now.
Also, i found the price pretty fair. soooo there's my 2 cents. -

Overpriced, crashes constantly, slow. No thanks. Now I see why they don't have a customer support forum. It's faster just to enter my sale into eBay by hand this using this piece of Junk. -
"3.0 is a good program"
Version: iSale 3.0
Summary

Initially I purchased 3.0 with out trying out the demo. I had owned version 2 and was very pleased with it. So when 3.0 came out I upgraded. It took some getting used to but I felt that the editing features were okay for a simple consumer program intended to just create auctions and place them on ebay. The isight intergration and iphoto intergration are wonderful for selecting images to display in my auctions. A simple copy and paste method put my pre-written text into the template and a few tweaks with formating allowed some text style changes. I use phone dial-up internet connection at my home, and that is a problem with the program I had several errors with uploading and never did get my auctions posted to ebay. The program would prefer a faster internet connection for uploading images (to .mac) and files (to ebay). With a slower connection a person may have problems using this piece of software. At my office I have DSL and it was only a matter of minutes that my auction was up and running. With ical intergration I am reminded when my auctions were placed and the duration for which they are on ebay. I admit that my very first auction with isale 3 has yet to be completed, so I have not been able to try out all the features. I am looking forward to using the contact which looks like it is intergrated with Mail from mac. The program will also keep your customer contact information in the address book. I did try the widget, but it could not located my auction. However I just put the auction up a few minutes ago so perhaps it needs to wait awhile before it can find it. I am not a big fan of widgets anyway. Need a manual, simply go to the iSale website and download it in PDF format. Would I recommend isale 3.0. Absolutly. I have been looking for a good multi-purpose auction tracking software since OS 9.0 and a program called A.I.D. iSale is a good product if you have a highspeed internet connection. iSale does not have every bell and whistle, but it does enough for now to make it a good program. As with anything there is always room for expansion. Besides the dial-up issue, my biggest complaint is I wish there were more templates. Overall this is a good program and well worth the money. -
"iSale 3"
Version: iSale 3.0

I found that version 3 has many bugs. It mixed photos from previous auctions into my latest auction, the dashboard widget doesn't see any of my auctions, the templetes have no editing control of line breaks, can't upload photos to my .mac account, etc.
Upgrading from version 2 to version 3 was a mistake. -
"Get's better and better"

I really like this iSale. I purchased version 1.7 and liked it, but with the latest release, 2.1, they really hit the mark. Most notably, licensing 2.1 was a breeze, I entered the activation code, clicked generate, and clicked a couple of â??okâ?? buttons and that was it. With all the feature improvements and new ideas, I am really glad that I purchased iSale.
Now if you guys would include number of bidders in the auction column, I would be in eBay heaven.
Great Work,
Carlos -

take this as a warning. i am a garagesale user. i was quite happy until they unveiled the "pro" version. all the features i waited for seemed to be only available in the garagesale "pro" version on a subscription basis. so i looked around and gave isale a try. at first it was nice. no subscription but all the features i was waiting for. but the app is completely useless if you want to run it on two computers. the app is completely restrictive by calling home and lock you out. you have to buy another license for an expensive product. you can't even use the app if you block the homecall with a firewall and you need an internet connection. but that's not all. i mailed the developer and wanted to return the software. after a month without reply i gave up.
this is one of my worst experiences with a mac developer. in the end garagesale shows real feel for customer needs. they killed the subscription model and made the pro version standard for all customers. btw. they reply on mails and are friendly folks. and the actual garagesale version has all the features i was waiting for. luckily i kept my license and now i'm a happy garagesale customer. good bye isale, nobody needs you... -

When I first started selling auctions on eBay, I was pretty lost and hated the looonnngggg drawn out process it took for me to create my auctions. Also, no Tubor Lister is offered for Mac users Bah. At MacWorld review I bought an iSale from amazon.com. I´m happy with it and glad it´s simplified the whole process for me. I can recommend this product.
