• Saved voicemails from my late grandmother!

  Absolutely amazing. When every other program could not help, this was quick and easy! Keeping the same phone, I had switched from a Verizon plan to Verizon prepaid and when I got home all of my voicemails were gone!!!!!! After spending hours with Verizon support and trying to restore an encrypted backup from my iPhone/iTunes, I had zero of my voicemails. I installed this and the free version gave me four of my voicemails--so I knew it would work. I paid for the basic version and recovered my remaining 36 voicemails. I am so grateful for the developers of this software!

  Cons

  If only it were free... but it was definitely worth it! No cons!

  Pros

  I think there are many this kind of data recovery or iphone back extractor software, like Dr.Fone, iMyFone D-Back, Fonepaw. I choose iMyFone D-Back because it's much cheaper and the software works as well as others. Recovery ability is effective and efficient. It even can recover my deleted WhatsApp/Wechat/Kik/Line/Viber messages.

• Essential tool for extracting in an organized way

  Pros

  I use this software to monitor my kids cell use for peace of mind. It was very simple to get started, no complicated installation instructions and I didn't have to load software on their cells for it to work. It extracts from iCloud backups in an organized and meaningful way. Very clean and simple and well worth the cost. I've used support a couple of times for minor issues and they were super responsive and accommodating. They also stand behind their software by making continuous improvements both technically and visually. Love the new redesign.

  Cons

  Minor programming flaws that have since been corrected so none that I can think of now.

  Summary

  Essential tool for monitoring kids cell phone activity in a world that has way too much access to them.

  Pros

  The software worked perfectly and kept up to the expectations. Even when there was an error (caused by Apple) and the software wasn't able to extract a backup in the first place => I had the best ever support experience, with a handful of new software iterations given to me until one finally worked.

  Cons

  None for me.

• Great product - Awesome customer service!

  Pros

  After turning my phone into a paperweight with an unintended swim, my thoughts turned to data recovery. I was loathe to invest, having been very slack in the backup department, so I queried customer service. Quick as a flash, Andrei responds and assures me that I can try it, and get a refund if I don't find the data that I'm looking for. Sadly, that turned out to be the case but as promised, Diana had my refund processed within 24 hours. All with good humour, commiseration, and nary a suggestion (well deserved) that I'm a dumbass. You don't see service like that every day!

• Exactly What I Was Looking For!!!

  Pros

  This application works great and the user interface is rather intuitive. I was able to view the data before I extracted and even better I was able to select the specific data I wanted to have extracted. You certainly have a lot of control over what you would like to have extracted before you even execute the process. You even have the ability to view some the data stored within other applications not mentioned on the website. For example you may have had some favorite settings configured within an application. Once you extract the info, you will have to parse through the information files but that data is there for you to retrieve and renter into the IOS device if necessary. All in all I was able to restore all the important data and media files I needed which has made me one happy customer!

  Cons

  There are really no Cons to mention other than possible future enhancements to the application. For exampled recovering Notes could be made much easier if there was some way of automatically extracting them back to the IOS device as opposed to extracting them to HTML first. Right now you need a little finesse to get the data back into the device but the main thing is your Notes are recoverable. Secondly I would also like to see the Home version support encrypted backups. Other than that, the application is great and would be even better with the above mentioned enhancements.

  Summary

  I worked with Bobby from the support team using online chat. The support and information I received was amazing and combined with the trial version it helped me make my decision to purchase the application. If you are trying to recover Contacts, Calendar items, Notes, SMS, Photos, Videos and Recording then this is the application for you.

• I bought the Home version - What a relief!

  I was able to retrieve valuable lost data. With my case, this was much less expensive than the alternative.

  Some support may be required. No downside with my experience.

  Summary

  I forgot my iPhone "Restrictions Pin". After much research, I purchased a license and downloaded the App to my windows based PC. Using an iTunes backup of my iPhone and Backup Extractor, I was able to recover my forgotten four digit pen. I found their on-line support to be excellent as well. If you are an IT Guy whose company supports iPhones for your employees, I highly recommend this support...

  You need to read carefully your license´s needs. If your back up is encrypted you need to buy a profesional edition.

  Summary

  I could not extract data from iphone. Only 4 examples. Customer service replied to me on Sunday and on Monday morning I had a personal reply and they help me to fix the problem. Monday night I had all data transferred to my new android phone (pictures and contacts).

  Pros

  I tried several solutions before this one and none of them actually succeeded in accessing my iOS 9.x iCloud backup. This was the only one that worked 100%! The company support via chat is absolutely outstanding - very quick to respond and very polite!

  Interface could be a little bit cleaner and the text prompts could me clearer
