iFacebook for Mac

Do you ever get tired of looking at Facebook in your browser and long for a separate program for this purpose? We don't, but if you do, you might want to give iFacebook for Mac a try. The program is essentially just a browser, itself, but with no address bar, it will only take you to Facebook or links that you click while using Facebook. We're not sure of the purpose, but if it sounds like something you need, we can at least say that it's functional.

iFacebook for Mac launches with the Facebook homepage, where you can sign in to access your Facebook account. Once you're logged in, Facebook will appear just as it does in any other browser. There are no other features nor special ways of accessing messages or chatting with people: It's just plain old Facebook. If you click on a link on your Facebook timeline, the program will open a new window and display the page. That really is the extent of iFacebook for Mac. There's no Help file, but there's not really anything to need help with, either. Overall, we found the program to be rather superfluous; Google Chrome displays Facebook for us just fine, and we don't much see the point in downloading more software to do something that an existing program does in exactly the same way. But if, for whatever reason, you'd prefer to have a browser devoted solely to Facebook, iFacebook for Mac fits the bill.
