    none. malicious program.

    Cons

    difficult to use.
    installs Spigit
changes search engine and home page to Yahoo
reconfigures iTunes to not recognize iPhone

    Summary

    I installed iExplorer from download.com.
It installed Spigit, which is a malicious adware program that is difficult to remove, changed the search engine and home page to Yahoo, and configured iTunes so it did not recognize my iPhone. All of this for a free trial.

Did everything I needed when I first got it several years ago. I'm still finding useful new things it did that I didn't know about.

    Cons

    Help is weak.

    Summary

Good app. I found I needed to play with it a fair amount to find ways to get it to do what I wanted.

"It saved the bacon Windows 7 would have ruined"

    November 23, 2014  |   By VintageMacUser

    Version: iExplorer 3.5.1.5

    Pros

It did what is normally impossible-getting files from an iOS 5 iPad to the Intel iMac after I had to lose my backed up copies due to Windows 7 torpedoing them.

    Cons

There are none, seeing how it took the impossible and made it happen! It's like a scene out of Halt and Catch Fire, except with 2011 vintage mobile and desktop software.

    Summary

If you're in danger of losing what you needed as regards music, you have to suck it up and get it. Hopefully in the future it will be like insurance, where you would need it but you don't want to have to need it. A security blanket, if you will.

"BEST MONEY EVER SPENT! Thanks to empathy of Apple guy!"

    September 18, 2014  |   By AdelaideBBB

    Version: iExplorer 3.5

    Pros

5 STARS - Best money I ever spent. Recovered everything from kids iPods and my iPad & iPhone after a tragic loss of 21 year marriage due to DV post separation and having all my music and photographs stolen only leaving me with the little I had on my iPhone. If I had have known about this, I wouldn't have wasted money on data recovery when my MacBook lost everything.

    Cons

none experienced but glad Apple guy set it up and started it off for me as I'm a complete tech phobic person

    Summary

5 STARS - Best money I ever spent. After a painful marriage breakdown where my ex took all our music I lost most everything and had only just bought an iPhone and started to copy CD collection into iTunes, I put all my Doors music on, most Queen some Led Zep and a few other faves, but the process had only just begun and I'm not at all techy far from it (EX stole my 30 year collection, music I turned him onto and old collectors albums he stole I owned before we met I hadn't yet converted for saving) so after a data recovery on MacBook and realising the music I did recover did not save into iTunes I was gutted again, so into Apple I went and the nicest guy who was disgusted to hear what my ex had done to our children (stealing a wii cord so they couldn't have fun playing wii with me, really vindictive stuff) downloaded iE for me and transferred all the music from my iPad into iTunes - I couldn't believe it, I had spent all this money on data recovery which didn't recover the most important things but a load of crappy stuff that clung on! I'm indebted to they empathy shown to me and to your product! My 3 little ones are smiling and I have the little back from my greater loss. Tell me where you want me to shout out cos your product is amazing, I've transferred all the voice memos the kids have on their iPods they recorded when experiencing abuse of power (can't use this stuff in courts but it sure feels safe knowing we have proof of DV stuff if required) What a life saving device! 5 STARS from me.
