The "push-through" method is the preferred method when bending on mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic benders.All results are given in center of bend method. You must figure out where the center of the bend is in relation to some benchmark on the bender-such as the front of the shoe. For example for a 15 -30 -15 degree saddle; first bend a 15 degree angle on a scrap piece -use a protractor or a digital level-for best results. Determine the center of bend in relation to the benchmark. Do the same for a 30 degree angle.
