Bottom line, it works great! If it failed for you, then tough luck. I am using a Razr v3 and simple USB. Nothing fancy but it works.

Not fancy but who cares when numbers can be saved.
Summary
My Razr v3 went dark. The screen is blank but phone is working. However, I can't see numbers e.t.c. So I downloaded this and in less than a minute, I had my precious numbers from both sim card and phone on the desktop. To top it all, pictures, calendar, sms, e.t.c. were on my desktop. I have spent years looking for something like this for my cheap phone and I finally found it. I wish I had it earlier when my other phone died! It is nothing fancy but it has saved me from loss of numbers I have spent five years collecting. Now I just have to figure out everything but I will buy the software. By the way, I am using Vista.

its takes forever to recognize the phone and once u have used it once or twice it doesn't want to work and it locks up the system.

The fact that it's so easy to use, and it doesn't take a computer nerd to figure it out. Glad I found this product for ease of use, and for the sake of my sanity!

I would consider myself computer literate but, I used ALL three chances of the trial period trying to enter the program! Waste of time to download and install.

Cons
number of trails should be at least ten. I opened the program and it couldn't connect to my phone the first few times. Had it on the last one then it crashed. I wonder if it is a good product. Guess I'll never know..bummer
