"Best I have seen (and I've seen a lot)"
Pros: - Stable and performing. Stability shines when handling unresponsive apps/windows. I tried 4 others apps and they all hung along. When this kind of apps hung, you loose all your open apps. You will see them in taskmgr but can never get their windows to show again. This is the only one that handled it gracefully.
- Feature full. Do not expect or need more features from this kind of app.
- Allows you to choose 3 program interface. Mine it set to windows maps which are miniature representation of each desktop showing its name, number, and icons of apps running on it. This is awesome.
Cons: - Would liked to have the map stay on top but overlap the maximized app. There is no reason the map should take its own dk space.

"Great Product...I use it all the time"
Pros: Great Window Management Software - I tried them all, and this was the only one that I purchased :) Stable, Works well, easy to use and configure, very low system resources used, very configurable, love the window map to drag and drop apps between desktops, window list is great too..well, I like everything about it :)
Some other products have more features - but what I really want is a very stable, easy to use and easy to configure virtual desktop manager that uses very little resources, have the ability to easily view windows from other desktops, drag and drop them between desktops/move them around without resorting to silly extra menu's on the windows themselves (like explorer extensions) to do this - with the window map and window list features, you can view all open windows on any desktop easily, and drag them to any desktop you want easily - very easily - the best method I have seen to date.
Cons: Sometimes there are some minor graphics flaws - such as a menu will remain open when switching desktops, I have traced this, and have noticed it mainly with the windows map in auto-hide mode, where if you click on the windows map to try and change desktops, and if there is a window right under where you just clicked, and you manage to click on the area of a menu (like a maximized explorer window, and you click in the "favorites" menu area), then when you change to the new desktop, you will see that the menu remains - floating there, with no parent window - on top pf everything. The only way to close it is to go back to the desktop that has the parent window (the window to which the menu item belongs), and then close it from there.. Sometimes in extreme cases, you actually have to close goscreen down, and then re-launch it, but that is rare - very, very rare, and even if you have to, it only takes seconds. I hardly ever re-launch it though, so this is not a big issue at all - that's the only "down" side I could think of.

"I have become addicted to this tool, we use it at work and I want it at home too"
Pros: very flexable and stable. I love the graphical indications showing you which programs are running in the different screens. I also like being able to drag programs from one desktop to another.

Version: goScreen 5.0
Pros: This is one of only a few applications that I can truly say work as advertised without crashing, conflicting, or forcing me to compromise between usability and stability. I have not tried the multiple monitor option introduced in the new version but everything else works like a charm.
Cons: The format of the documentation could be improved. The content is good but the format is not as readable as it should be.

"A virtual desktop manager with good mix of features and simplicity"
Pros: Tried several virtual desktops managers, and all take a bit of getting used to. However, the interface on goScreen seemed less "in your face" and allowed me to concentrate more on my work and less on managing desktops. Switching desktops didn't cause crashes except once with Adobe Photoshop Elements, and then only with some huge image files occupying most of my RAM.
Cons: Apps like these are a matter of personal choice. The simpler user interface suited me but you may want more options. If so try Dexpot and XDesk before you commit - both worthy VDMs you can configure 'till the cows come home.
