From Bert Bonkowski:
eyeSwarmLite is eye-candy software that displays an animated collection of sparkling sprites. Individually acting on simple rules of relationships, these sprites collectively appear to mimic the swarming behaviour of some insects.
But be careful... they'll chase your finger if you touch the display.
eyeSwarmLite is the freely available companion to eyeSwarm. Learn all about eyeSwarm at
eyeSwarmLite 1.4 fixes a dependency on iPhone OS 3.0 headphone/headset identification that was changed without notice in iPhone OS 3.1.2 and again in iPhone OS 3.1.3. eyeSwarmLite now correctly recognizes when headsets or headphones are plugged into an iPhone or, minimally, a second generation iPod touch. First generation iPod touch devices, regardless of iPhone OS version less than 3.2, still do not properly report an existing plugged-in headset or headphone to eyeSwarmLite but eyeSwarmLite can make a proper determination if the headset or headphone is unplugged and plugged in again. Proper recognition of headsets and headphones results in the appearance of a volume control to adjust sound volume.
